What to do here?
At Tampat Do Aman Tip of Borneo you will find: a Jungle camp (Traditional Rungus long House), a beachfront restaurant and bar (“Tip Top”) and an activities center. If you are a nature lover like us, then there is lots to do here in Tip of Borneo. Our activities center offers bicycles and snorkeling gear for rent. There are different trekking and night tours happening and you can even take a course in Jungle Survival.

Our Story
Tampat Do Aman Jungle Camp
Tampat Do Aman strives to offer guests the best of both worlds - best of the stunning beaches at the Tip of Borneo area and the jungle surrounding. The original, 6.5 acres of land that Tampat Do Aman sits on was purchased in 2010 and we embarked on a journey to develop a low impact, environmentally friendly resort, offering different levels of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. We are the gateway to 8 world-class beaches that we encourage and indeed help, with a free shuttle service, along the coastline allowing customers to walk back at their leisure exploring and adventuring as they go. Tampat Do Aman, over the last 10 years has expanded its operations to be able to offer customers jungle experiences and adventures in this beautiful part of the world – guided medicinal and edible plant walks, overnight stays in the jungle and jungle survival courses, all being very well received by those who have wished to experience the jungle. Our wildlife reserve, free to our customers, open 24 hours, offers a superb space to get out and experience the jungle first hand, enhanced by our watchtower, viewing platforms and trails, connected by our stunning 100 foot-long suspension bridge, something not to be missed when staying with us. At the heart of development is always the mission to be sustainable, helping preserve the local Rungus indigenous tribe’s culture and working with the local community to provide opportunities for employment through improvement of the local infrastructure thus enabling the local community to thrive.
